Time Warp, Perhaps?

A question for all those in the know: I recently posted an entry (not here, on The Cheese) and thought better of it five minutes later and deleted it. Today I found someone has a link to that now-deleted entry, and it can still be accessed that way.
How do you delete an entry from all existance? When I do the search thing on it for the entry title, it comes up zilch. How odd, huh?
Not urgent, just curious.

Hmm. I can zap it for you, LeeAnn... Done.

I'm not sure if Movable Type would ever clean things up under these circumstances. Seems like an odd deficiency.

Pixy, you are ace. If I knew how to cook, I'd make you cookies.
With moo-juice.

Wow! not only Keeper of the Templates, but Primo Zapper with Super Powers!!!! Pixy, will you have my children? (This offer has only ever previously been extended to Frank J, who wisely ignored it).

What if you "over-wrote" it? Then would be it gone from all existence? Say, the original post was some drunken offer to Pixy to have his children. Then you sobered up and updated the post to be...oh...links to all of Frank J's posts?

Pixy, will you have my children?

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not really equipped for childbirth.

Yes, that would work. But once you've deleted it, you're kind of stuck.

Hey, Pixy...you could be equipped for childbirth. My offer still stands...

Right, but now that we know our hideous posts are there forever, we can write nonsense over them and then delete them.

Right?

Hey, Pixy...you could be equipped for childbirth.

Victor, you need to read up on Stevie's offer. Covers most of the essentials... Here: Wanted to trade.
