Looks like someone is trying to tell Jim and Ted and Jennifer something. We must find out who this scurvey knave is a beat him about the head and shoulders till he cries "uncles".

It looks to me that at least some of these are some sort of spam or attack. Pity there isn't more detail in the logs.

It's an attack/spam...one of the addresses is showing at various sites.

We can't say funk-with-a-c-instead-of-n? How can I appeal to the lowest common denominator of my audience if they can't respond appropriately?

I think that banning a word across the entire MuNu-verse should be a group decision not a personal preference, since it affects everyone.

A more paractical approach would be to delete the offensive comment or "cragerize" it to make the author sound silly. To arbitrarily ban a term from everybody's site is not fair to the rest of us.

Just a thought... I've never received crap mail that contained the word F-U-C-K... I'm wondering if some of the same address origins were people going from one blog to the other to try to complain about it?

I don't think it's a choice about selective banning. With the way Munu is set up and the way Blacklist works, that's just the way it is.

But that's what I am saying... since it will affect everyone, don't you think everyone should at least have some input?

So... if you ban an IP address, does it ban across the group?

I suspect so, MW. Since we're all running MT from the same server(s)...and MT Blacklist is set up to filter that server...Am I right, Pixy?

While banning a word seems a bit silly (and that probably explains why some of my comments haven't posted in some places) I think we're all pretty agreed we don't want spam. Spammer IP's are the only ones I've submitted to the Blacklist.

So I guess what I'm sayin' is, for once, I agree with Madfish Willie.

I think I added the "f" word the last time I got spammed--it was in the url, believe it or not....
