Help!

Hi Everyone. I'm new. You might have already visited my site and have seen that it's pretty bare. Well, that's because I want to get things resolved before moving my archives and stuff from Blogger. I have a few questions that are important to me at this time and I'm hoping you can help.

I would like my blockquote to appear in a box, not just indented.

I would like my expanded post to appear on the same page, instead of on a separate page like the permalink. I would also like the code to allow a collapse back to the original view.

I would like to use an unusual font for my banner title and description (DeVinne Orn). I entered it in the font family, but it's not working. Any clues how I can get that to work?

I want to set up additional pages for additional info I currently have parked on another site. Is that possible to do with keeping the current style sheet, and how? :)

When I upload pictures, where do I go to find them again? :)

blockquote--add this to the very end of your stylesheet and adjust color codes to your taste:

blockquote {
border: thin solid #400099;
background-color: #FFFCE6;
}

banner--not sure about that--perhaps that particular font is not recognized by MT? you may want to make a picture file of what you want and add that in. e-mail me for help on that at jenlars@hotmail.com

Linda: Pixy forwarded a copy of your questions to me. I answered them all but sent the answers and sample code to him instead of to you. D'oh! I sent another e-mail asking him to forward it to you. In the meantime, there are some answers to your questions over in the sidebar under MuNuby Helpful Thingys (or something like that).

Yeah, I have almost everything resolved with the exception of how to add additional pages. I will read further. Much thanks to Jennifer though, who appears to be a goddess. I will need help moving archives, but Pixy offered help on that, or I think you did too Madfish. :) I'm so close to having this all done.

Hey, I'm almost completely moved in. I have my export file saved and need to import it into MT and then I'm pretty much ready to make the final leap. Woo Hoo.

Thanks for the help.

One thing though. I've tried to center the banner and it's not working. I'm doing that within the style sheet. Should I move over to the main index and use center html tags? I tried Googling centering in css, and the only thing I found was text-align: center. I did that and it didn't work. Clues?

In your Main Index template, go to div id="banner" and add align="center" "banner". That will center your banner image in the div. Make sure your left and right margins are equal in your stylesheet too.

Linda, what's your blog name or URL? There are so many new Munuvians so suddenly that I'm still trying to meet everyone and match names with faces!
