Introductions?

Can I make a suggestion/request/plea?

Since so many people are joining the fabulous ranks of Munuviana, can we ask that each new person introduce themselves and what their blog is sort of about on this page? I mean, I was without internet connection for nearly 2 months, and I think our ranks have doubled in the meantime. So if a new person joined, we could get to learn a bit about them and know if that's the type of blog we like or not (since all of us are so very different.)

You know-the new person could say: "Hi, I'm Uncle Bob. My blog is a rant against naugahyde and I like to spend my time abusing sales people and doing target practice with my air rifle on street signs" then we wold know about the strange and screwed-up Uncle Bob, and know if we wanted to visit their site or not.

Just an idea.

sounds like a good idea, although I'm at a loss how to define what my blog is about.

Hi, My name is Rob and I'm an addic... sorry, wrong meeting.

My name is Rob and my Blog (XSet) is a personal journal which spends an awful lot of time being techy and incomprehensible. I don't do news or politics but always have a pot of coffee on the go if you fancy dropping by.

I'm a web designer by trade and so spend more time breaking my blog's design than I do posting.

NEXT!

Hi, I am Mr Mouse, individual moniker Mortimer, and I have a blog called Beyond the Black Hole that I share with Bill Bulldog, Miss Kitty, and the household genius, a parrot called Bird Brain. I primarily keep up on the news about cheese and what goes on in the mouse world. The others do similar stuff with things dealing with dogs and cats, but Bird Brain just rails about how stupid people are, usually.

Actually, I wrote a post on this not too long ago. So, if you haven't seen my site yet, here is a brief synopsis: http://auterrific.mu.nu/archives/027724.php

He was my Unca Bob too, you know--by marriage.

Sorry. I will refrain in future from making Urban Cowboy references.

Naugahide! ROFL! I live 20 minutes from it's birthplace (I think); Naugatuck, CT.

Also: my name - to a select few - is Uncle Bob!

Does anyone have an excuse yet not to love Helen?! :D

Can I join? Simonworld offered to introduce me, but when I wrote back and said yes he had gone on holiday.
