Blacklist

I've just added "home" and "html" to the Blacklist. I've been peppered with nonsense comments, presumably by a bot.

The only thing they had in common was the urls were in this format:
homexxxxxxxxx.com
htmlxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com

Where the Xes were random crap. I'm assuming this was happening at other blogs too?

We'll need to remove them from the Blacklist tomorrow or in a couple days. Whenever this fucktard gets bored and quits or modifies his bot.

It looks like a crapflood designed to destroy the effectiveness of spamfilters. I'll add some more specific patterns to see if I can get rid of just this fucktard.

Where is this 'Black List' and how can I, humble Mikey, add to it?

You must use caution though, as anything you put on the Blacklist affects all Munuvians. That's why I posted here when I had to put the normally unoffensive "html" and "home" on the list.

To turn Blacklist on for your blog go to the "Configure" section of MT. Then whenever you get a comment there will be a link at the bottom. Use this link if the comment is spam and it will remove the comment, rebuild the entry and add the spam url to the Blacklist.
