The 2004 Weblog Awards polls are open and many Munuvians (and Munuviana itself) are finalists in the polls. You can vote in each poll once per day. The following list contains the Munu blogs that made the final cut. The CAPITALIZED AND ITALICIZED lines are links to the individual poll and those are followed by links to the Munu blog(s) in that contest.
Note: It's possible that I've missed a couple. I parsed for websites at "mu.nu". If there are Munus in the polls that I overlooked because they have their own domains please comment here and I'll update the list.

Posted by Jim at December 12, 2004 06:17 PMYou missed me in the BEST OF THE TOP 100 - 250 BLOGS with Bad Example
Posted by Nick Queen at December 2, 2004 09:27 PMThanks for the list, Jim! Good thing you can vote more than once.
Posted by Pixy Misa at December 2, 2004 09:28 PMNick, that's because you have one of those silly .com addresses!
Posted by Pixy Misa at December 2, 2004 09:28 PMSeems ever'one missed me when it came to nominations. What gives?
Posted by Tig at December 2, 2004 10:44 PMAll fixed, Nick.
Tig - Don't feel put out. Shi-loads of blogs didn't get nominated.
Posted by Jim at December 3, 2004 12:21 AMCongrats everyone! Congrats Pixy, you insane, magical, amazing, generous, blog-making overlord for hosting such an amazing community.
My only shock in these nominations is that not every single munuvian isn't on the list. If I'd have known about these (Damn my newbie ignorant ass) I would have spent all night if necessary making sure that justice was done.
And you, Jim - thank you so much for nominating me. I look at the company I'm in and know for sure, I didn't deserve it.
Posted by Elizabeth at December 3, 2004 12:35 AMAll right, who's not keeping the Munuviana list up to date? I didn't even know a few of these existed. As much as the alphabetic list makes sense, it doesn't make it easy to see who the new folks are.
Posted by Ted at December 3, 2004 12:59 AMThere's a chronological listing too. The one here on Munuviana is that type.
Posted by Jim at December 3, 2004 02:39 AMOops. I mean the one here on Munuviana used to be that type. Um...help?
Posted by Jim at December 3, 2004 02:42 AMYeah, I think I might one of the very few that actually have Wolgang Von Skeptik and Kirsten (aka, mermaid) of Lyrics of Life in LA blogrolled.
Pixy! Updated chronological list, por favor!
Posted by Tuning Spork at December 3, 2004 04:10 AMActually, Tig, you might have got nominated. It says:
Several thousand blogs were nominated. Of the hundreds nominated in each category there's at most 15 up for voting. The finalists picked were a set of the best of those nominated, in my subjective opinion.
C'est la blog.
Posted by Pixy Misa at December 3, 2004 05:50 AMKnock it off with the "I suck" comments, Pixy. I blame Stephen!
Posted by Ted at December 3, 2004 11:33 AMPixy is right - there were many more nominations than finalists. As someone who helped sort a few of the sections I have to tell you it was really hard to arrange (and Tig wasn't in any sections I worked on). We had to cull the list down to 20 from the nominations and from other sources when the representation wasn't broad enough. The lists were 20 to allow for some overlap culling which left 15 or so. Kevin then went through and fine tuned everything - the amount of effort he put into the process was absolutely incredible.

Posted by Ozguru at December 3, 2004 07:42 PMWe are all over that awards program like stink on a Michael Moore movie.
