Notifications

Hello there!
I was wondering why the notifications don't work. I would like my blog readers to be able to receive notifications through e-mail when I publish a new post (and I'd like to be able to have this feature on my blog as well). I've tried adding e-mails to the notifications section but nothing worked.
Can this be helped?

Maria :-)

I've never tried it, but it should work.

I'll get out my +2 Stick of Poking and see if I can do something with it.

It works but the notification system is manual. After you post and the page comes back up letting you know that the post was published scroll down a bit to the notify section. You'll have options to send the whole post, part of the post, and/or a message. I used to use this on my Zero Intelligence blog until I got too many subscribers and too may posts and went to a listserv system.

Incidentally, I'm using PHPlist for the notifications now and it's great. It's in your Cpanel.

Hmmmm, I briefly thought about giving folks the ability to be notified when I posted. But then I realized they already have it, if they want it. Just load up my RSS feed into their favorite news aggregator and away they go.

It's available via Fantastico.
