It Wasn't Easy Being Green

I really appreciate the work Ciao! My Bella! did, but I am a purple person at heart. My site is undergoing revisions. BUT I can't seem to alter the banner. How do I put a new banner in? Do I need to ask Ciao to unlink me?

Once I have done that this is what I want to do. Same banner without the green border; just the sunset and the tree and the sky. I will then change my colors again if need be to match the purple you see in the sky. I would love to make the edges a bit fuzzzy too. Advice?

Your banner is a graphic with the following URL:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/callmemsro/sample-001-willowgreen.jpg

You will have to create a new graphic, easily done from the old one, and link to it

BTW Your blog is one of the most beautiful that I have seen.

Showing my total stupidity, how do I create a new one? Linda made the banner for me, sans the green I think. I want to leave it without anything about it,but I can't access the original (my computer tried to commmit suicid) and the green part of the banner was done by Ciao!and she has it in her photo bucket. I can't get it from there.

You liked the older color scheme better or the newer one?

You should be able to simply right-click on the picture of the banner and choose "Save Picture As..." or something like that to save the picture to your computer. From there you'd have to use some sort of image editing software to change it.

Well, actually, the purple is kind of hard on my eyes.
