Every single post I've put up in the last 2 days has given me this error: "One or more errors occurred when sending update or TrackBack pings. Check the Activity Log for the error."
And they don't appear to be tracking back to posts I linked even though auto-discover is on.... Anybody else having this problem? I haven't messed with the template or settings....
Posted by caltechgirl at June 6, 2005 02:59 AMI'm having troubles with inbound trackbacks showing up in my individual archives until I do a rebuild. Haven't noticed if the outbound trackbacks are problems, or not.
Posted by Eric at June 6, 2005 03:16 AMThere are two things that can cause this error - pings from your post, and the notification thingies. Movable Type automatically pings weblogs.com and blog.gs every time you post, but they only allow one ping every half hour from the whole of mu.nu. So you can get an error from that even if you personally haven't posted all week.
You can turn that off under Weblog Config. Try that and see if the errors go away.
