Did you ever wonder how to make a Show/Hide thingy? Press "Show" below to see one answer.
(Show)
I forgot to say: Replace "YourId" with an ID unique to the page. Something with <$MTEntryID$> will do fine, if you have more than one post on the page.

Posted by David Boxenhorn at December 7, 2005 10:14 PMNow, the interesting thing is that you can do it inside a post. Fun!
Posted by Pixy Misa at December 8, 2005 06:12 AMIt also works better than the method being used for opening/closing comments, at least in my browser (Firefox). When I close comments it moves the whole page up, instead of closing "in place", which I find really annoying.
I don't see any reason why this method can't be used for comments too.
Posted by David Boxenhorn at December 8, 2005 08:03 AMOutstanding!
I don't like the page behavior either, but have gotten used to it by now.
I'll link this post under Useful Thingys in the sidebar.
Posted by Madfish Willie at December 8, 2005 12:31 PMDavid: Yep.
Madfish Willie: Yep. I did notice that.
Pixy... sorry, my reading and comprehension skills are deteriorating... I thought your comment said now to see "if" it works in a post... D'oh!
Posted by Madfish Willie at December 8, 2005 05:53 PMDavid: FYI This method does not was 'as is' in the pLog blogging software.
Posted by Madfish Willie at December 9, 2005 02:01 PMThat's odd. I don't see any reason for it not to work. I'll give it a try sometime next week when I'm less dead.
