YOu might want to do a search at the MT Support Forum. There is a link in the sidebar under Useful Thingies. Let me know if you can't find anything and I'll poke around a bit for you.

I found some stuff but it just links back to the individual entry archive... still working on it though.

I did a search of MT Support Forum last night, which is when I got frustrated and posted this. I can find, in the manual, what the tag is for the comment ID, but didn't feel like futzing with it forever to figure out the full syntax.

I've seen that code on a site somewhere, but can't remember where. If you run across it, you could ask the blogger how to implement that code. Right now I can only get it to link to the individual archive page with a full list of all comments - although it should theoretically take you to that particular comment on the page layout.

You have to get a proper anchor tag into each comment. A quick Google showed this method.

Check out the other links in the post for extra refinement for better semantic usage.

Thanks Paul. Apparently my choice of search strings on Google wasn't bringing that page back: "movable type tags comment permalink". What string did you use?

Eric, I'll bet your search had it, but buried pretty deep, so you didn't get to it. I basically did your search, but without 'tags' i.e. "movable type comment permalinks".

Paul: I guess I'm retarded or just missing something. How do you get a proper anchor tag into each comment? I used the code on that page and got the same result - goes into the Individual Entry Archive page at the top of the page. What am I missing here?
