Trackback Spam/Porn

Is their any way other than catching in on "the Five Most Recent" pings to catch and eliminate trackback spam and/or porn?

When one of these TB's go to an older post, how can we figure out which post to be able to go and eliminate it?

FWIW, I find that an effective way to eliminate trackback spam is not to show trackbacks on the older posts or inline with comments. In other words, TBs only show on the front page. Then they can spam older entries to their little hearts' content, but no one will see it. They learn.

when the TB gets emailed to you it should have the post title somewhere in that notification. You can then go into MT and search your blog for that title. When the edit post screen comes up, you can delete the spam TB or comment and then resave the post and it's gone.
