Alright Then

MT Blacklist was screwed up yet again.

I've turned it off.

That means you will get more spam. Possibly lots more spam. But only for a couple of days. Then the new comments system will be in, and it will go back and zap the old spam for you automatically.

Sorry about this, but if people won't pay attention when they're using Blacklist it just screws things up for everyone.

Not to be a pest but is there any way to turn off comments from a specific date back?

Like maybe only keep the two most recent weeks open?

Other than going through them manually.

Phin,

Yes, you can turn them off after a specific number of days.

Here is the thingy on it:

I am going to do it tonight...

Yes. I'd recommend that everyone does this.

do you need to put $ signs in that tag? I'm trying that now. It sure would help if the instructions had been more detailed for people like me.

It's not working for me either. I am trying a few things and will post if I figure something out.

Don't forget that you have to "Save" before you "Rebuild" the templates. Could that be it?

you have to "Save" before you "Rebuild"

Yeah, that's pretty counterintuitive. You'd expect "Rebuild" to save too...

Minx won't have that problem!
