If I wanted the maximum information about a comment posted to the blog, what do I do. I can run the IP address, of course. Do we have any logs that can be used to view more information?

Posted by Sacramento Republicrat at August 11, 2006 03:43 PMIn an word -- anything. I've found the access log function in CPanel that shows where the person at this IP address went. I'm not certain what other information you can get. I'm not a networks guy, so I'm not sure what happens when two computers start nattering at each other over TCP/IP. Obviously the mu.nu server knows the IP address of the other computer -- is any other information logged? Someone mentioned an "IP Log". Is that different from the access log? Can I see it myself through CPanel or some other utility?
