May I invite someone?

Well, it seems like my husband has abandoned his blog. Leastways, that's what he says, and so, I don't think he'll be coming over to Munuviana. (I think he's just shy...)

Other than that, what is the protocol for inviting someone to join us? I belong to an online discussion group, and one of the members is really cool. He's a retired journalist and editor, and has some really great insight on life, etc.

I'm thinking about inviting him to first do the occasional guest spot on my blog, and then, if the bug takes him, seeing if he'd like a blog of his own?

How does that work around here? (Asdie from adding additional authors, which I know how to do.) I know that you guys like to review someone's work before they're invited to come onboard, so is it OK if I have him put up a few posts as guest author? Is there any problem with that, Pixy?

I just don't want to commit any sort of etiquette violation.

Thankee!

By all means invite him to be a guest author on your blog, Linda.

But yes, we like to make sure that people aren't the wrong kind of insane before granting them citizenship. :)

Pixy: did you look at Little Miss Stacked yet?

And bribes--Pixy is *very* bribeable. Any anime DVD not already in his collection is his favorite form of currency.

Hmmm.

scrawls the tip down in a little notebook entitled, "Ammo"

Can you think of anything else I should know? ;)

Food. I am easily bribed by large quantities of tasty food.
