Vanity being what it is...

I've been looking for a way to post audio files. I looked at Radio365, and that ain't cheap, which is a requirement at this point. I can't get into my goodie-pile (or even my webmail) because it keeps telling me the link is down, the server is bad, evil has taken over the world, please try again later. I thought there was something in there that would allow for that.

Anyone got any ideas? Doesn't have to be an hours long radio show, updated weekly, or such. Just an ability to post rants, maybe an occaisional song from my friends, etc.

Let me know. I'm a looking.

First you gotta convert the audio file to mp3. I do that with a program called CDex that I downloaded for free. I'm sure a google search will point to their website.

Once you've got the mp3 saved in My Documents you then use an FTP (file transfer protocol) to upload it to the munu server. The FTP program that I use is an ecellent one called WS_FTP and is also a freebie download.

Part of my problem is getting the voice from me and into a file. Do I need a digital recorder for that? Or is there something I can download to emulate a digital recorder and record into a file? From that point, I can see these other things working. It's the mystery of going from analog to digital that has my tiny little mind fried.

Plug a microphone into your computer :)

And then... I'm sure Windows comes with a program for recording... Or if not, your sound card/motherboard does.

Exactly what error are you getting from your goodie pile? (I assume you mean CPanel.) It should be working!
