Good News, Less Good News

Good news first: MT3 is up and running! Email me at andrew -at- pixymisa -dot- net and I'll give you a login and password so you can play around. The test blog is at playpen.mu.nu.

I've installed two plugins so far and have at least two more to install, but it's a lot more straightforward than with MT2 and nothing is likely to break.

Less good news: It looks like we've hit some sort of limit in MT Blacklist; I couldn't get rid of the latest spam until I went and pruned some redundant entries. There are quite a few redundant entries, fortunately, so we'll survive for a while yet.

Oh yeah. The dates on the test blog are in Czech, because the languages are listed in alphabetical order on the config page and that turns out to be the default. I thought it was cool so I left it that way.

Update: MT3 seems to be working well, except for the dynamic publishing, which isn't working at all. Unfortinately, Brad Choate's site is down, so I can't get updates for two of the plugins we currently use. Hopefully it will be back up soon and we can get this baby off the ground!

No, I haven't tried that yet. I need to read up a bit.

I tried it, and it didn't work even a little bit. Not sure what the problem is yet.

I ran into the Blacklist problem. I didn't think to prune the list but I did get around for the individual spam by simply removing the URL from the add box.
