I don't want "sociali*t" banned. I seriously don't. I live in a sociali*t country and often use the word. (I would write the word, but it's already been banned, and I hate the MT banning so much I don't go near the thing).
I don't want to think that any kind of political slant in any direction is harboring what words can or cannot be used in the comments. I don't want anyone else's politics deciding what can and cannot be posted in my comments, regardless of whether or not I agree with them. Seriously, it really pisses me off. Can it be unbanned for Mu.nu please?
The only problem with the word "social*st" is that it contains the word "cial*s". We didn't ban the political term, but it includes the drug name and when "cial*s" is allowed we get bombed big-time with comment spam.
Given the choice between using the 'social' word and dealing with tons of spam, well, you can guess what I'm gonna prefer.

Getting 50 spam comments thrown at us everynight is not going to be a positive thing, mainly because (as I remember Pixy explaining once) it slows everything down and possibly screws everything up. So yeah...
My vote is no. Keep Cia*is banned

I agree to close it for now, however I think it should be removed in about 20 days or so? That's about the life of these spam robots.
I close all my comments after one week just to deal with the spam, since I hate it so much. Read an old post and want to comment? Oh well. My ego will survive.

It should be possible to block "cialis" but not "socialist" (or "specialist" or whatever) but I haven't been able to get that to work yet.
