Closing Old Trackbacks

Online Poker has decided that I simply MUST have trackbacks to my old posts.

Is there any clever script, like the script we have for comments, that closes the ability to trackback to old posts?

Online poker-never had it, never will.

I was an online poker for a while. Hey, I was young and experimenting. Don't judge me.

To answer your question - dunno. MT version 3 has it and it looks like we're just about ready to head there so hopefully it won't be a problem for much longer.

I haven't seen a plugin for that, sorry. But there will probably be one soon...

I was over at Parkway Rest Stop and he's been having all the usual comment and trackback spam. One of his commenters/bloggers said she had a plugin for closing old comments and trackbacks in MT. I emailed her asking for a copy - just now. If she answers me, I'll pass it on to you Pixy.

Teresa, the code is probably MT-Close2. We have it here, but opening it up for use allows any one blogger access to the closure settings for everyone's blog - hence Pixy's reticence to implement.
