Uploading Issues?

Lately I've had real problems uploading pics, etc-is the problem just on my end? I've tried it from two different LANs and still she no work...

That's probably been the least problematic part of the process for me. I've *never* had a problem loading pix.

Helen, what problem do you have? Is it just really slow to upload? Do you get an error message? Does it eventually work after repeated attempts during the same session? Does anything change between the failed attempts and whatever works?

(MT does have a maximum picture size allowable, but I assume that's not what you're running up against.)

It just hangs once I get to the last upload window-it doesn't matter if I choose it as embedded or pop-up, it simply hangs there. I left the window for an hour at one point, it was still no go.

I turned off my firewall here and everything and tried it-still no work. I also tried it from a different pc on a different LAN this week, it also wouldn't upload. IT all just hangs there. And the pic is small-150x140 or something like that.

Okay, it's working for me, so it's not a system-wide issue. I checked your directories on the server, and they all look fine to me too.

Darn.

You can also use FTP to upload files, or the file manager in your CPanel account. Meanwhile, I'll take a look at the log files and see if I can find any clues.

You're a sweetheart, Pixy (but you knew that, right). I just tried the FTP option and the same thing-it just hangs.

I did a bunchle of uploads this morning and had no problem. Odd. You can send it to me and I'll upload it for you to help you through until this gets figgered out. Just let me know if you want pop-up code or embedded pic code.
