Having theme music. Possible?

Is there a way to have an mp3 play automagically whenever my blog is visited? I've looked at the useful thingies list and don't see any info on this.

I found an mp3 of the opening theme to the movie Zandalee. Ever since I saw it on HBO, over ten years ago, I've wanted this music. I'm listening to again right now. It's very dixieland jazz New Orleansy 3-minute-long masterpiece and I'd lve to have this play on my blog. Can it be done?

Sure it can be done!

Here's a site that tells you how and gives your readers the option of shutting it off: HyperGurl.

Thanks, Tiffany! I got the html from your link, then realized I need an FTP program to upload an mp3. I downl0aded* one as a .zip file and now can't do a thing with it. "What program do you want to use to open this file?" Hell if I know. I haven't done this stuff in 2 years. I'm lost. **sigh**

*(The word in question seems to be banned as "questionable content".)

Download* a copy of Winzip. It's free to try - the trial used to last forever, don't know if it still does.

* Fixed.

Spork:

Just be aware that a lot of people really, really hate it when a site they open plays music by default.

To me it's a perfect example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

Just my 0.02

Mmmm, good point, L&D. Maybe I'll just put it up as a concole with the option to play it or not.
