Deleting Trackbacks

Is there a quick way to pull up the trackbacks to my blog and delete the disgusting ones? I've gotten some really gross kiddie-pr0n TBs in the last day or so ("preteen bikinis" and "pedophilia erotic stories" are self-evidently ones that should be deleted).

Thanks.

Yep, use MT Blacklist.

Further to what Pixy's referring to:

Go to http://blog.mu.nu/cgi/mt-blacklist.cgi after you are signed in.

Click on the DeSpam link at the top of the page, then use the radio buttons and drop-down list to tell Blacklist that you want to see the X most recent trackbacks on your blog. (You can also list comments the same way.)

Normally, this is used to find comments containing a particular spam word or regexp, but the 3rd option will give you a listing of all comments, with info about the commenter, Ip address, URL etc., along with a checkbox to select if you want to easily delete specific comments.

Since you alredy know some of the common words that are in the problem trackbacks, you can also tell the blacklist to just search the last several hundred tb's for those words. I'd recommend searching for each main word seperately.

Does that get you what you need?

Very odd... the offending pings were gone before I de-spammed.

I should have remembered how to access the blacklist; once I accessed the blacklist, I realized I've asked about something similar to this once before.

John:

It's entirely possible, nay, even likely, that Master Misa (kinda like a Master Yoda, but cooler) had already nuked those in the course of his general de-spamming rounds.
