Skinnable sites?

How does one go about making their site "skinnable"? I've seen it done with background colors and banners and such... I *think* I just might make a version where the background is white, text is black etc. and the other skin is just the inverse.

anybody have any links or primers?

I cannot believe you are actually begging people to divulge state secrets.

You could just grab my code and edit it... but it only works for 9 or less skins for some reason... if I have time tomorrow, I'll post my code - remind me with an email.

I'll do a whole post on it and put a link to that post in the Useful Thingys in the sidebar...

As far as just making a "negative" of your current site, you could just put a link in the sidebar to a different index file with associated css file...

Index2.php with a file pointer in the header to a negative.css stylesheet.
